Doctors typically order this panel as a critical second-step follow-up if you have symptoms of a connective tissue disorder or if you have already tested positive on an Antinuclear Antibody (ANA) screening.

A qualitative test provides a straightforward Positive or Negative result. Rather than measuring the exact amount of autoantibodies in your bloodstream, it confirms whether specific autoantibodies are present or absent.
